UMACO announces Katerina Park hotel in Moscow



February 15, 2010 UMACO Group company finalized the deal of buying hotel complex Eurolux in Moscow from the group of private individuals. The cost of the acquisition is not disclosed at the mutual agreement of the parties. Currently under extensive rebranding, the hotel will be included in the Katerina hotels chain and named Katerina Park. The opening is scheduled to the end of spring 2010.

Hotel Katerina Park featuring 260 rooms has an advantageous location in one of the greenest areas in the south of Moscow, on Kirovogradskaya street, within 300 m from Varshavskoe main road and 5 minutes walk from at once two metro stations (Prazhskaya and Yuzhnaya). It’s only 25 minutes drive away from the hotel to the city center, Kremlin and Red Square. The way to any Moscow international airport takes less than one hour. Providing an easy access to all transportation facilities, the hotel is extremely convenient for all visitors – leisure and business travelers.

A spacious lobby, reception, bar and restaurant occupy the 1st floor at Katerina Park’s 12-storey building. Stylish and bright interiors will be created in traditional for Katerina hotels contemporary Swedish design, providing thought-throughout functionality and maximal comfort. The furniture and internal interior details are produced in Sweden at the special design order.

The room rates at Katerina Park will include the Katerina superior branded services such as free mini-bar, Wi-Fi, Buffer breakfast and fitness center access. – We are pleased to add the second Katerina location in Moscow to our brand.
