UMACO announces the sale of Katerina Park hotel in Moscow

As part of its hotel chain management strategy, May 25, 2011 UMACO Group published an Investment Memorandum for the sale of Katerina Park Hotel in Moscow. 

Business-hotel Katerina Park with 240 rooms in the south of the Russian capital, has been working under the Katerina brand since April 2010. In less than 6 months, UMACO successfully implemented a strategic plan for rebranding the property on the Moscow hotel market. The plan consisted of 3 stages of hotel renovation, as well as a marketing program for repositioning the hotel from the lower category to the level of a 4-star business hotel. 

Active marketing strategy of the management company UMACO Management, positioned Katerina Park Hotel on a higher level of hospitality segmentation. Key indicators, such as occupancy, ADR (average daily rate), RevPar (income per available room) increased more than 200%. 

In accordance with the published investment memorandum the stabilization hotel rates will be achieved by 2012. In addition to a convenient location at the epicenter of the actively developing new business district on the Varshavskoe high road, the program of the management company provides the investment attractiveness of the object. UMACO Management will continue to manage the Katerina Park hotel after the sale of the property.
