2011 a successful year for UMACO


UMACO Group both increased its revenues and improved its operating profit in 2011.

New UMACO’ hotel Katerina Park performed an impressive first full year results, making significant contribution to the property management revenue. Active marketing strategy of the management company UMACO Management positioned Katerina Park Hotel on a higher level of hospitality segmentation. Key indicators, such as occupancy, ADR (average daily rate), RevPar (income per available room) successfully increased more than 200%. Hotel revenue amounted to 249.3 (129.6) million rub, representing an increase of 92,4% for comparable units. EBITDA increased by 118% to 132.8 (60.9) million rub. 

Both Katerina Park and Katerina City hotels hold the strong position in the TOP-10 amount 220 hotel in Moscow on the largest tourist website TripAdvisor.com, both in overall comparative assessment and the business listing. 
Brief summary of results for the period January- December 2011: 
Total UMACO Group revenue increased during 2011 by 33,9% to 539.3 (2010: 402.7) million rub. 
The operating profit (EBITDA) increased from 28% to 36%, equivalent to 192.5 (2010: 110.9) million rub.
